Sneek peek and books

I was always fascinated by alternate realities in novels and stories in general. Where the author obliterated history as we know it and wrote in what he thought would be a much more interesting or suitable history for the planet, or even universe. Well i guess there is an official word on this that i must have blanked on, Fantasy. The mind can roam and you can let out your originality. The very few free writing or "fun" writing i do on my spare time is 99% fantasy. I feel as though writing about the world as we know it a bit restricting. This time around I am trying my best to mix actual facts with uhm overly fantastical fantasy. Say that 50 times fast, tiring huh?
The setting will be in Japan (mainly) and probably later on in the story our main character Rin (girl) will have to travel to get certain tasks done. Japan just has such beautiful scenery and i can of course artistically blend certain elements together to make it so much more alluring. My all time favorite genres are action/adventure/romance/fantasy, actually not all that hard to find, but I find most bland. In a simple way i really enjoy reading good writing, and have a immense disdain for crappy writing. Very recently i have grown fond of reading about zombies and post-apocalyptic settings. Although i highly doubt there will be any zombies inside this story, there will be plenty of action and i am going to try to do my best a writing a love angle.
Another thing i am trying new is to have the quick writes as a direct influence on they story. From the very first line to the second scenery change have all been taken from a quick write we have done in class. Unlike my first story this one will not be written in a first person view. I found that it was rather difficult to explain and describe from a single persons eyes. This story will be a third person view just for the easier way of expressing what i see in my head onto the paper/computer.
One of my ambitions is to become a manga author. I have so many friends who draw in the manga art style and i would love to join something i already dedicate so much time into reading. I hope anyone reading this will check up next week on maybe the first chapter or half of the first chapter of this story that is developing as your eyes scan these words. Toodles~

Writing Group Opinons

First of all i would like to express my discontent for group work. In my mind i work more efficiently by myself without having to pay attention or tend to the needs of other people, yes a tad selfish. Besides that i will still try to give you the best feed back i can on your questions.
If i do end up working with other people i would be the most excited on how they feel on my writing. Discussion is good depending on the subject, whether it is agreeing with me on the whole or engaging on a debate, i love it all. When in a group it would also be better for more people to bounce different ideas back and forth. To those people writing could become a whole lot smoother, easy, and maybe even enjoyable for those die-hard anti writers. Commenting on blog posts is something i could really get into. So far i have only commented on friends posts because it just seems a bit awkward to just say something about a strangers writing.
I would not be a good candidate for spell checking and grammar nazi-ism. I am way more open to the idea of " as long as the point gets across" its perfectly fine.
For me personally i would prefer working with friends. Then i can just relax and concentrate on working on my own work. For the good of the group i would think its better to work with the same topic rather then your friends. You get the opportunity to meet new people who are at least slightly into subjects you are into. And you get a whole bunch of different view points on the same subject.
A nice guide line would be to always be supportive of those around you. I also think that its better if your just gonna not pay attention then pay attention and not every now and then. Either get with the program completely or dont bother the people who want to work

Bermuda Triangle

Ahh the Bermudas a tropical paradise, fun for everyone. For some yes, but for others venturing towards Bermuda's triangle be weary. Mystery shrouds the area with a dark allure. Many stories have been strung about this specific place and most not all that friendly. What is a fact is that several anomalies have happened in the triangular area. Numerous ships, planes, and people in general have seemingly been wiped from the face of the Earth. Compasses and electric reliant machines almost fail 95% of the time while in the area making it very difficult to examine.
The compass being messed up is what raises in a red flag in my head. That means a electromagnetic field with enough power to disrupt a compass in that area. I'm not quite certain and I'm not saying I'm an expert in this area or anything, but this is what makes the most sense in my head. I would be more then happy for someone to prove me wrong or show me some more evidence on this electromagnetic theory. Then either way if I am correct or wrong there still lies the question of what is making the compass go out of control. Such a tool that relies on little work from humans and more of nature.
One of my days strolling though Bermuda triangle theories i came across an alien themed theory(huge believer of aliens, just unsure if they are intelligent enough to pay us a visit). Some people think that an alien base is at the depths of the triangle, and that their advanced technology is what is interfering with our equipment when we go near the area. Why the aliens would choose that specific place is past me, but i would guess research.
Some more people threw in the idea of there being a sort of area where two different dimensions meet. Such as a 4th dimension intersecting with our 3rd dimension selves. Just the pure energy of the connection is what throws off our best attempts to gain specific knowledge electronically. That even possibly people go missing because they get "sucked" into the other dimension. This is a tad harder for me to swallow, but i would love it for this to be true. Who wouldn't want to go explore a new dimension?
Then probably my favorite theory that at the very center of the Bermuda triangle is a worm hole. A worm hole is like tear in the universe that will allow you to jump through to a different area in the universe and possibly a different time(remind me to show you an example with paper). What interests me about this is that very close to Japan they have a similar triangle called the Dragons Den (or Dragons triangle). Having almost the same traits as the Bermuda triangle. Making some people believe that a worm hole goes through our Earth and connects one distant place to the other. If this is indeed true we could think of a way to travel at incredible speeds to Japan if all the variables are in our favor (very unlikely)
I gave up on writing about my day when i was sick, pretty sure David is writing about it.
